Pearls Learned for Sports Related Injuries
It all begins with an idea.
On Tuesday, November 27, 2020, we held our first zoom in-service/professional development for our hand therapists. We had 10 physical and occupational therapists attending from our clinics and from Duncan. The speaker was Dr. Rodney French, a hand surgeon from Vancouver, with extensive experience treating professional athletes.
We discussed injuries affecting the little finger side of the hand and wrist. We learned several new clinical tests to understand the symptoms of wrist injuries more accurately. Treatment protocols were taught for several less common injuries. Great questions were presented and addressed.
