New and Updated Handouts

We have been hard at work creating new handouts and updating existing information and exercise sheets. We now have 18 new handouts. A good number have been revised to improve the content and pictures. All the handouts are now electronic, so can now be easily updated.

West Coast Hand Therapy Association Meeting from Victoria

On February 23, 2010, we were privileged to be part of the first meeting of the West Coast Hand Therapy Association outside the lower mainland. Angele, our association's web expert, and Josh, our clinic's web site guy and photographer, worked hard to set up the meeting, so all the technical stuff worked, and the content was streamed onto the website. Dr. Slobodan Djurickovic, one of our local hand surgeons presented on Wrist Arthroscopy, complete with amazing surgical footage from the inside of the wrist joint.

February 2009 Staff In-service

On February 24, 2009, the therapists met to learn more about serial casting. It is a technique used to gradually straighten a stiff bent finger. We were able to practice on each other, succeeding in becoming a little more proficient in the use of plaster.
